Okay, I'm guessing most of you have heard what happened to me on Wednesday at my basketball game. But if you haven't, well here is the story...So I was going up for a layup and basically got body slammed by this HUGE and i mean HUGE girl, #40, (and yes the paper says i was coming down with a rebound but thats wrong). Then while I was coming down i thought i hit something before my head slammed on the floor but that's the only thing i don't remember very clearly. As i was laying on the floor in horrible pain, apparently the refs did not see that I was rolling on the floor crying. But when they saw me my coach finally ran out with the trainer to see if i was okay. While I was laying on the floor, they kept asking me questions and then when they wanted to sit me up i knew i wouldn't be able to but i tried anyway, when they finally sat me up i almost threw up so they had to sit me back down and had to call an ambulance. When i heard the word ambulance i was so scared, I didn't know what was going on. When the ambulance finally arrived which was very quick in my opinion, they had to roll me onto this board and wrap me up so my head and neck were stable (this was so scary). But the paramedic said that they had to do it for precaustion. Then when i was put on the stretcher, my team came over and I told them to win! When i got to the hospital, they kept me on that board for atleast an hour and then finally took me for a CT scan which came out negative which was really good. While I was at the hospital my grandparents and my coach which i figured would come. But then this one man came to visit me and it completely touched my heart, Grandpa Reif, Mr. Reifs father. He said he just wanted to see it I was okay and told me to get better soon! People like that are why the world is some what half decent. He is a great man and always will be a favorite in my eyes. Anyway, when i found out that we ended up losing by 3 after a fight, i shed some tears because i never thought it was going to be my last game i would ever play (which isn't true anymore, i got selected for the Senior Allstar game), but i was so proud of my team. They put their heart and soul into that game, and yes things didn't go our way but i believe we tried our best and thats what counts. I''m going to miss the team!
Today is saturday and I am feeling MUCH MUCH better=] Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

OMG! I saw #40. She was enormous. I didn't realize that she was the one who caused the collision. I am happy that you and your shoes are doing better.
Thank you, Mrs. Krieger, you're the best!=] And yes she is EMORMOUS!
